Sightseeing

The Auschwitz Subcamps Museum has two tours planned. Each of them will cover a slightly different part of history. During the tour, you will be able to see locations such as the SS canteen, the Bor/Budy Women’s Subcamp, the Jude Rampe, the potato plants and other facilities. Each of these sites commemorates different events. They all add up to what took place at Auschwitz, which has been kept quiet for many years.

In addition to the buildings that are located within the sub-camps, you will also see many exhibits. Most of them are available for viewing. These include, for example, items belonging to people who came to Auschwitz unaware of what fate awaited them. There are also objects made available to visitors so that they can interact with them to a certain extent. For example, you can see the inside of a wagon that was used to transport prisoners.
