In December 1944 about two hundred women were held at Plawy. On 17 January 1945 a hundred and thirty eight men were also recorded.
The farm was part of the agricultural base of the camp, under Auschwitz II-Birkenau.
Practically no element of the camp survives. Establishing the correct location of this small subcamp proved complicated.
There is no commemoration in the village or on the site of the camp. An information board stands at the entrance to Auschwitz II-Birkenau, put up by former residents of the Zone of Interest.
