From September 1943 prisoners worked at the Johanna pit, later renamed Gute Hoffnung. The employer was the same company, Fürstengrube GmbH, that owned the subcamp at Wesola.
On 17 January 1945 eight hundred and fifty three people were held here.
The remains of the camp lie in the former Obiezowa miners' colony, on the street of the same name in Libiaz, at its southern end. One of the colony's residential buildings formed part of the camp.
At the end of ul. Obiezowa stands a monument in the form of a memorial stone, raised in 1965.
