From 26 September 1944 about four hundred women worked at the textile works of Schlesische Feinweberei AG. On 30 December 1944 four hundred and thirty women prisoners were recorded.
The subcamp operated for less than four months, until the evacuation in January 1945.
On the grounds of the Frotex works the building in which the women prisoners were quartered is practically unchanged, as is most of the factory. Fragments of the metal fence also survive.
A plaque on the wall of the building records that during the years of the Second World War a subcamp was located here.
